Movimento 5 Stelle and Sinistra Italiana discuss alliance in Vittoria

Political leaders from the Movimento 5 Stelle (M5S) and Sinistra Italiana held an initial meeting in Vittoria to discuss potential cooperation ahead of upcoming administrative elections. The discussions focused on developing a shared political program and a common project for the city, rather than immediate discussions regarding specific candidates.

The proposed alliance aims to address several key issues, including the fight against corruption, environmental and health protection, social cohesion in multi-ethnic communities, and support for the local productive sector. M5S representatives emphasized that establishing an ethical and political framework is the priority before determining individual candidacies, particularly in light of Mayor Francesco Aiello's announced re-election bid.
