Movimento Gaudí to be presented in Alghero

The Movimento Gaudí, a civic and spiritual initiative inspired by the values of architect Antoni Gaudí, will hold its official presentation in Alghero on Saturday, October 26. The event will take place at 18:00 in the San Francesco complex conference hall.

Organized by Obra Cultural with the patronage of the Municipality of Alghero, the presentation is part of the celebrations for the ‘Gaudí Year 2026,’ a designation by the Generalitat de Catalunya marking the centenary of the architect's death. The movement aims to promote awareness, beauty, and social commitment.

Key speakers include Movimento Gaudí President Joan Amoros and Secretary Joan Maluquer. Attendees will include Alghero Vice Mayor Francesco Marinaro and Gustau Navarro, the delegate for the Generalitat de Catalunya. The evening will also feature a recital by Catalan soprano Olga Miracle and Algherese singer Eleonora Peana.
