MOVIN expands Express capacity for Indian festive season

MOVIN, a logistics joint venture between UPS and InterGlobe Enterprises, has expanded its Express network capacity to manage the anticipated surge in shipment volumes during the Indian festive season.

To prevent capacity bottlenecks, the company has secured commercial air capacity across high-demand domestic airport nodes and increased fleet and line-haul resources for key surface corridors. The strategy utilizes technology for load optimization and centralized network monitoring to improve vehicle utilization and provide early visibility into potential bottlenecks.

Dilip Sharma, Chief Operating Officer of MOVIN Express, stated that the network has been engineered to be elastic, allowing for the dynamic movement of surface resources to high-velocity corridors and the use of dedicated air capacity to ensure guaranteed movement for enterprise shippers.
