Movistar Plus+ introduces €4.99 football‑free streaming subscription

Movistar Plus+ has launched a new monthly subscription priced at €4.99 that excludes all sports content, including football. The plan gives subscribers access to the platform’s library of movies, series, documentaries and more than 70 TV channels, and can be taken up by any internet provider without a binding contract. It can also be shared with one additional user using a simple card and email login.

The offering complements Movistar Plus+’s existing €9.99 plan, which retains live sports such as La Liga and major football matches. The new lower‑priced tier is aimed at customers who prefer entertainment without the added cost of sports rights, reflecting the operator’s shift to cater to a broader audience.
