Movistar updates mobile plan prices in Venezuela

Movistar has updated the prices for its mobile plans and data packages in Venezuela for September. The adjustments are calculated based on the official exchange rate from the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV).

Under the Full Plus line, the base pay-per-use plan is set at 243.41 bolívares (approximately $0.30). Larger Movistar Plus packages include varying amounts of data, minutes, and text messages. For instance, the 2GB plan is priced at 1,714.72 to 1,828.17 bolívares, while the 25GB plan reaches up to 14,449.70 bolívares.

Additional data packages for expanding existing plans have also been adjusted, with 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB options available. It is noted that the published prices do not include Value Added Tax (IVA), meaning the final cost to consumers will be higher.
