Moya to host community magazine project for local residents

The Asociación Canaria de Universidades Populares (ACUP) has selected the town of Moya to host the community magazine initiative ‘Un municipio para contarlo’. Following a successful pilot program in Santa Brígida, this project aims to create a collective narrative of the municipality by gathering stories, memories, and perspectives directly from its residents.

The initiative is supported by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria through its Directorate of Citizen Participation and the Moya City Council. An initial meeting was held on September 22 with local residents to establish the methodology and define the contents of the publication. The final community-built magazine is scheduled to be presented on December 3.
