MOZA Racing partners with Gran Turismo to launch native PlayStation steering wheel

MOZA Racing announced that, effective 28 July 2026, it will serve as the official peripheral partner of the Gran Turismo World Series. The collaboration with Polyphony Digital includes co‑development of a native wheelbase and steering wheel for Gran Turismo 7 and the forthcoming GT8, marking the first Direct‑Drive hardware designed specifically for PlayStation 5.

Founded in 2012 by automotive engineers, MOZA brings its flat‑wire motor technology, high‑resolution encoders and active pedal systems to the console market, ending the long‑standing dominance of other brands on the platform. The partnership also features MOZA branding at live series events from August 2026. Specific performance specifications have not been disclosed.

Both MOZA chief Chenyong Guan and Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi highlighted the joint effort as a step toward greater immersion for virtual racing fans worldwide.
