Mozambique to integrate culture and tourism for economic growth

The State Secretariat for Arts and Culture and the National Agency for Tourism Development and Investment (ANDITUR) are launching joint initiatives to promote Mozambique as a destination for tourism and investment. The collaboration aims to leverage the country’s cultural diversity to enhance its national tourism offerings.

A key component of this partnership is a panel titled ‘Culture as an Economic Asset for Tourism,’ which will be featured at the upcoming Mozambique Tourism Summit. Scheduled for November 5 and 6 in Vilankulo, Inhambane province, the summit will bring together professionals, investors, and representatives from approximately 30 countries to discuss sector development and business opportunities.
