Mozambique's LAM Receives Two Embraer Jets to Boost Fleet
Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (LAM) received two Embraer aircraft on 24 July at Maputo International Airport after the planes were painted and prepared in South Africa. LAM said the jets are in excellent technical condition and are expected to begin commercial operations in roughly three weeks, once regulatory and operational procedures are completed.
The new aircraft are part of LAM’s recovery and transformation plan aimed at modernising the fleet, increasing operational capacity, stabilising schedules, improving flight regularity and enhancing overall service quality and competitiveness of the national carrier.
