Mozart opera productions held in San Salvo and Sacrofano

Various Italian municipalities are hosting outdoor operatic performances featuring the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

In San Salvo, the Arena del Mare hosted a production of ‘Le nozze di Figaro’ as part of the fifth edition of the ‘Abruzzo All’Opera’ festival. The event, which featured the Orchestra Benedetto Marcello, was held with free admission to bring opera to a wider audience outside traditional theaters.

In Sacrofano, Piazza San Biagio is scheduled to host a semi-scenic production of ‘Don Giovanni’ on August 30. Organized by the Municipality of Sacrofano as part of the ‘Summer Events in the Veio Park 2026’ series, the performance will feature the Colosseum Chamber Orchestra and a cast of national and international artists.
