Mozart performances scheduled across Italy

Various musical ensembles in Italy are preparing performances centered on the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The Collegium Vocale di Crema, directed by Giampiero Innocente, is launching a series of six concerts across Lombardy titled ‘Mozart 270’ to commemorate the composer’s upcoming 270th anniversary in 2026. The series begins on September 20 in Castelleone and will feature works such as the Litaniae K 243 and the Concerto for harp, flute, and orchestra K 315.

In Fiorenzuola d’Arda, the Coro Vallongina will perform Mozart’s Requiem in D minor K 626 alongside the Corale Ss. Pietro e Paolo of Gessate and the Corale Città di Fiorenzuola. This performance serves as a tribute to the centenary of the birth of Don Luigi Bergamaschi, a prominent local parish priest. The event will feature soloists, including soprano Rebecca Brusamonti, at the Collegiata di Fiorenzuola d’Arda.
