Mozart’s Così fan tutte scheduled for performances in Poland and the US

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s comic opera ‘Così fan tutte’ is featured in upcoming productions at both the Opera na Zamku in Szczecin and the Metropolitan Opera.

In Szczecin, the production directed by Jacek Papis will take place on October 3 and 4. This staging draws visual inspiration from 1960s Mediterranean summer memories and explores themes of love, fidelity, and human weakness. The performance features an orchestra and chorus from the Opera na Zamku, with musical direction by Jerzy Wołosiuk and conducting by Agnieszka Nagórka.

The Metropolitan Opera’s 2026-27 season includes a revival of Phelim McDermott’s production. This contemporary interpretation is inspired by the 1950s Coney Island boardwalk in New York City. The production is led by conductor Nimrod David Pfeffer.
