Mozart’s The Magic Flute staged in Mexico and Argentina
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s opera ‘The Magic Flute’ is being presented in different productions across Mexico and Argentina.
In Mexico City, the production will feature string puppets designed by renowned Mexican puppeteer Mireya Cueto. Part of the Second Mexico City Opera Festival, the performances will take place at the Teatro del Pueblo with free admission. The festival aims to support emerging lyrical singers through workshops and masterclasses.
In Argentina, the opera will be performed at the Teatro Argentino. This production features the Orquesta Estable under the direction of Carlos Vieu, with stage direction by María Jaunarena. Admission is free with online reservation.
