Mozilla releases Firefox 154 for Android
Mozilla has released Firefox 154 for Android, introducing several functional updates and interface improvements. Key features include the ability to rename files and select specific download locations before saving, as well as the option to change the default download directory in settings.
Users can now add bookmarks directly from Custom Tabs, which are simplified browser views used within non-browser applications. Additionally, the update resolves an issue where links from Google’s link shortener (share.google.com) previously failed to function within the browser.
A new section called ‘Firefox Labs’ has been added to the settings, allowing users to opt-in to testing upcoming experimental features. Other updates include a customizable toolbar action for page summarization, new icons following the Nova design language, improved automatic translations, automatic address saving, and enhanced bookmark searching.
