Mozilla releases Firefox 155.0.1 maintenance update

Mozilla has released Firefox 155.0.1, a maintenance update designed to address several bugs found in the recent version.

A primary fix resolves an issue where the browser would freeze or become unresponsive on websites utilizing both CSS “blur” and “backdrop” filters simultaneously. The update also corrects a bug where the sidebar would fail to reappear after a restart if the “Hide Tabs and Sidebar” option was enabled.

Additional fixes include resolving display errors for profile icons in account and application menus, as well as correcting a bug where the currently active device was incorrectly listed among connected devices.

A known issue remains regarding macOS users, where certain video formats in Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) may appear washed out; however, this is reportedly addressed in a subsequent version.
