Mozzart Foundation donates over 19 million dinars to Serbian healthcare

The Mozzart Foundation has donated more than 19,000,000 dinars to support the Serbian healthcare system since the beginning of the year. The donations aim to modernize medical facilities and improve patient care across various regions, including Užice, Svilajnac, Valjevo, Zemun, and Belgrade.

In Užice, the foundation provided an automatic PAP smear staining machine worth over two million dinars to the gynecology department of the local Health Center. This device replaces a manual process that had been used for three years following a previous equipment failure, allowing for faster and more reliable analysis.

In Nova Varoš, the foundation donated equipment to the Health Center, specifically targeting emergency medical services. The donation includes an EKG machine, aspirators for sanitary vehicles, pulse oximeters, otoscopes, blood pressure monitors, and two new beds.

Additionally, the Military Medical Academy (VMA) received a gamma counter for its Institute of Nuclear Medicine. This device is critical for testing potential kidney donors, supporting patients in Serbia who are awaiting organ transplants.
