MP Hanuman Beniwal Criticises Air India Flight Delay Ahead of Lok Sabha Session

Air India flight AI 1834 from Jaipur to Delhi was delayed by roughly one hour and twenty minutes, departing around 10:10 a.m. instead of the scheduled 08:50 a.m. The delay forced RLP MP Hanuman Beniwal to miss his planned arrival in Delhi before the Lok Sabha monsoon session, which was set to begin at 11:00 a.m.

Beniwal posted on X that the government must take responsibility for chronic airline punctuality problems, accusing the Prime Minister and the aviation minister of silence on the issue. Air India responded, acknowledging the delay and apologising for the inconvenience. The episode has revived public discussion about the reliability of India’s air‑travel services.
