MP Witold Tumanowicz confirms photo of his return home after drinking

A photograph showing Confederation MP Witold Tumanowicz walking beside two city‑guard officers spread online, prompting speculation that he was under the influence of alcohol. Tumanowicz told the newspaper Fakt that the picture was taken a few days before it went viral and that he was simply returning home after drinking. He said no offence was committed, there was no fine, warning or identity check by the guards.

The incident adds to a series of recent cases involving Polish politicians caught in similar situations, including fellow Confederation MP Ryszard Wilk and Lewica MP Andrzej Szejna. Tumanowicz said he would not comment further on the matter.
