MPBL bans Bacolod MassKara players after GAB probes 100-64 loss to Bulacan

Following the investigation, the MPBL imposed Red Cards on several Bacolod players and coaches, issuing lifetime bans and cancelling the franchise’s participation for the remainder of the 2026 season. The league said the sanctions were taken to protect the integrity of Philippine basketball. The Red Card system was introduced by MPBL founder and chairman Manny Pacquiao and is supported by the GAB.
