MPDFT to host public procurement training month in September

The Public Prosecutor's Office of the Federal District and Territories (MPDFT) will hold a series of lectures and workshops throughout September titled 'Public Procurement Month 2026'. Organized by the Secretariat of Education and Corporate Development (Secor), the initiative aims to improve public purchasing processes and update staff on Law No. 14,133/2021.

The 20-hour training program covers topics such as contract planning, management, and supervision, with an emphasis on legal security, governance, sustainability, transparency, and efficiency. Key events include the launch of the Contractual Management and Supervision Manual and a lecture by Professor Tatiana Camarão regarding the five-year milestone of the new bidding legislation.

Workshops scheduled for the month will address the Annual Procurement Plan (PCA), the Demand Officialization Document (DOD), and technical studies. Some sessions, including the opening panel, are open to the general public.
