MPE to host ASEAN+3 Young Entrepreneurs Summit in Penang, boosting Malaysia-Thailand ties

The Dewan Usahawan Progresif Malaysia (MPE), led by President William Khoo, reaffirmed its commitment to deepen regional business cooperation with Thailand following a formal visit to the Thai Consulate General in Penang. Khoo said the dialogue would lay the groundwork for broader strategic partnerships and expand cross‑border market opportunities for Malaysian entrepreneurs.

MPE is preparing to host the ASEAN+3 Young Entrepreneurs Summit in Penang, an event expected to draw up to 500 delegates from ASEAN member states and partner economies such as China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The summit aims to foster youth entrepreneurship, promote innovation and support sustainable economic growth across the region, positioning Penang as a Pacific‑Asia hub for young business leaders.
