MPF employees in Amapá strike over workload changes

Federal Public Ministry (MPF) employees in Amapá have launched a strike to protest new administrative measures. The mobilization targets Dispatch No. 10.735/2026, issued by the 1st Office of the Republic's Attorney's Office in Amapá.

Workers are contesting the expansion of the weekly workload from 35 to 40 hours and new restrictions on remote work. The protesters also cited concerns regarding new rules for leaves and vacations, which they claim could hinder their ability to attend medical appointments.

The union, SINDMPU, stated that the measures were imposed without dialogue and lack objective data to prove that the current model compromises productivity or service quality. Employees argue that efficiency should be measured by results rather than physical presence in the workplace.
