MPK Kraków employees launch 15th anniversary football league

Employees of the Kraków public transport operator, MPK, have launched the 15th anniversary season of their internal football league. The competition began on Friday, August 28, at the field on Praska Street.

Six teams are participating in the tournament, representing various bus and tram depots, including Wola Duchacka, Bieńczyce, Płaszów, Podgórze, and Nowa Huta, as well as the Repair Station. Matches are scheduled to take place on Fridays between 16:30 and 18:30 over the coming weeks.

Established in 2011, the league serves as a tool for staff integration, allowing employees from different departments and depots to build relationships outside of their professional duties. While the matches involve competitive play, the primary goal is to encourage active leisure and foster cooperation among the workforce.
