MPT-MS investigates labor irregularities at Três Lagoas therapeutic clinic

The Labor Public Ministry of Mato Grosso do Sul (MPT-MS) has launched an investigation into potential labor irregularities at the Estância Terapêutica Efésios 6, a therapeutic clinic located in Três Lagoas.

The investigation follows an inspection conducted on Wednesday, September 9, which was coordinated by the State Public Defender's Office. The operation included participation from various rights protection agencies, including the State Public Ministry, State Sanitary Surveillance, and the Regional Pharmacy Council.

During the inspection, officials gathered documents including internship commitment terms, voluntary work adhesion terms, and service provision contracts. Based on these findings, the MPT-MS has opened a ‘Notícia de Fato’, which serves as the initial stage to determine if there is sufficient evidence to proceed with a formal civil inquiry or a preparatory procedure.
