Mr Brightside participation in Kia Ora Stud Mile uncertain

The future of Group 1 winner Mr Brightside remains uncertain as the Lindsay Park team evaluates his participation in the Group 2 Kia Ora Stud Mile at Flemington this Saturday. Ben Hayes stated there is a ‘50-50 chance’ of the horse running, noting that a final decision will be made after consulting with the ownership group.

Following a last-place finish in the Feehan Stakes at Caulfield on September 27, Mr Brightside recently completed a second-place jump-out at Flemington. If the team decides to bypass the upcoming race, the 10-year-old horse will be given a break to prepare for an autumn campaign, which may potentially be his final season of racing.
