MR. DIY expands presence in Romania with new locations

Malaysian retailer MR. DIY is expanding its footprint in Romania, planning to open new stores in Timișoara, Brăila, Oradea, and Bacău. The company has initiated recruitment processes for various positions to support this growth.

Salary offers vary by role and experience. Store manager positions in Brăila and Timișoara offer between 5,000 and 6,000 lei net per month, requiring at least two years of retail experience. Assistant store manager roles in Brăila, Bacău, and Oradea provide between 3,000 and 3,500 lei net, while sales consultants can expect between 2,700 and 3,300 lei net.

The retailer specializes in home, DIY, and everyday products, typically operating stores of approximately 1,000 square meters that carry around 18,000 items across ten categories, including tools, electrical goods, stationery, and cosmetics.
