MR. D.I.Y. Thailand marks 10 years with major reforestation initiatives

MR. D.I.Y. Holding (Thailand) Public Company Limited is marking its 10th anniversary in Thailand by expanding its environmental initiatives through the ‘MR. D.I.Y. Cares’ project.

In collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the company is entering its third year of increasing green spaces at Benjakitti Forest Park. Over the past three years, the retailer has planted a total of 940 trees and provided maintenance equipment, including gardening tools and safety gear, to support park staff. To celebrate the milestone, the company recently donated an additional 100 saplings and organized a community walk-run and forest planting event.

Additionally, the company received the ‘Rak Pa Rak Phaendin’ honorary pin and a letter of commendation from the Royal Forest Department for its contributions to forest resource restoration. This recognition follows the company’s efforts to restore 100 rai of land at Khao Takra in Saraburi Province, where it planted over 20,000 trees and provided financial support for ecosystem recovery. These initiatives are part of the company’s broader commitment to community and environmental social responsibility as it operates over 1,300 stores across Thailand.
