Mr Eazi and MOLIY release new single ‘Comfort’

Afropop artist Mr Eazi has released a new single titled ‘Comfort’, featuring Ghanaian-American singer MOLIY. The track was produced by Nigerian producer Ragee, who has previously worked with artists such as Davido and Ayra Starr.

Recorded during a stay in London this past summer, the song blends elements of Afrobeats, dancehall, hip-hop, and R&B. Mr Eazi described the release as an updated version of his signature ‘Banku Music’ style, characterizing it as ‘sweet, easy, flattering gyal dem music.’

MOLIY is recognized for her global hit ‘Shake It to the Max (FLY)’, which reached number one on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart. The collaboration highlights the long-standing musical connection between Mr Eazi and Ghana, where his musical identity and the Banku Music sound were originally developed.
