Mr Eazi praises Shatta Wale for unprompted support and loyalty
Nigerian singer Mr Eazi has commended Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale, describing him as one of the smartest and most genuine individuals in the music industry. During a recent Twitch stream and interviews, Mr Eazi revealed that Shatta Wale has frequently attended his performances to show support without receiving payment or a formal invitation.
Mr Eazi recounted an instance where the crowd's sudden excitement revealed Shatta Wale's unannounced arrival at one of his shows. He noted that while he typically compensates other artists for appearances, Shatta Wale has never charged him for attending.
In response to this loyalty, Mr Eazi shared that he stayed awake until approximately 4 a.m. to support Shatta Wale during a stadium concert in Ghana, despite having a flight scheduled for later that same day. Mr Eazi also used the platform to discuss his personal life, including the impact of losing his mother last year and his deep appreciation for Ghanaian culture and music.
