Mr Magpie’s Harmless Card Game announces Matt Mercer and new platforms
Giant Light Studios, Behaviour Interactive, and Gambit Digital have announced new details for the upcoming surreal corporate horror deckbuilder, Mr Magpie’s Harmless Card Game. A new trailer revealed that voice actor Matt Mercer will provide the unsettling vocal performance for the game’s titular puppet host, Mr Magpie.
The title is expanding its platform availability, with confirmed releases planned for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on its launch day.
Mr Magpie’s Harmless Card Game features a mix of Minesweeper-inspired deduction, roguelike deckbuilding, and push-your-luck mechanics. Players must navigate a corporate nightmare, climbing the ladder by exploiting synergies and earning cash while avoiding lethal JERRY cards. The game is slated for an early 2027 release window.
