Mr. Nik wins ‘Yo Soy 2026’ impersonation contest

Mr. Nik, the stage name for Nikolas Bujahico, has been crowned the winner of the 38th edition of the reality competition ‘Yo Soy 2026’ on Latina Televisión. An impersonator of Argentine hard rock and heavy metal singer Adrián Barilari, Bujahico secured the title following a grand final held on Saturday, October 17.

In the decisive stage of the competition, Mr. Nik performed Rata Blanca songs ‘Aún estás en mis sueños’ and ‘Mujer amante’. His performance was noted for its vocal power and ability to replicate the high registers of Barilari. For his victory, he received a trophy and a cash prize of S/20,000.

The final featured five contestants, though only three reached the ultimate deciding round: Mr. Nik, Paulina Villalobos (imitating Isabel Pantoja), and Favio Enríquez (imitating Ricky Martin).
