Mr. Nutz physical releases announced for SNES and Mega Drive

Strictly Limited Games and Atari have announced the physical release of the classic platformer Mr. Nutz and its sequel, Mr. Nutz: Hoppin’ Mad, for the SNES and Mega Drive/Genesis. Scheduled for release in early 2027, these editions will be distributed on original hardware cartridges rather than through digital emulation or modern collections.

The original Mr. Nutz follows a red squirrel attempting to stop Mr. Blizzard, while the sequel, Hoppin’ Mad, features combat against Alien Chickens across an explorable overworld. Both titles are currently available for pre-order through the Strictly Limited Games website.
