YouTuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) and bestselling author James Patterson have collaborated on a new thriller novel titled ‘The Most Dangerous Games’. The book features a high-stakes competition set in extreme environments, including Antarctica and remote islands, where participants compete for a billion dollars.

To engage his massive audience, Donaldson has integrated a marketing strategy involving clues and easter eggs within the text, offering a one million dollar prize to fans who successfully navigate the challenge.

Despite the high-profile partnership, reports indicate the project may face commercial difficulties. According to Semafor, citing anonymous sources, pre-sale numbers have been low, described as being in the ‘four digits’, which may not sufficiently cover the significant fees paid to both the author and the creator. As of recently, the book held the number 18 spot on Amazon’s new releases list.
