MrBeast files trademark for ‘Beast Band’ wearable tech
Jimmy Donaldson, the YouTuber known as MrBeast, has filed a U.S. trademark application for ‘Beast Band,’ signaling a potential expansion into the wearable technology market. The application, submitted by Beast Holdings on September 21, covers wearable activity trackers, smartwatch bands, and related devices.
The filing was made on an ‘intent-to-use’ basis, which secures nationwide priority for the name while the product is still in development. Industry experts suggest the move could involve direct hardware manufacturing or the licensing of the name to outside manufacturers.
This development follows a recent multi-year partnership between Beast Industries and Google involving Gemini and Google Health. While the ‘Beast Band’ filing follows this deal, no direct connection has been confirmed. The trademark is part of a broader trend of business diversification for Donaldson, who has previously filed for trademarks including ‘MrBeast Mobile’ for wireless services and ‘MrBeast Financial’ for banking and cryptocurrency services.
