MrBeast marries Thea Booysen in private Necker Island celebration

YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, announced his marriage to South African creator Thea Booysen via Instagram, captioning the post, "I found MrsBeast and it was the best day of my life." The ceremony took place on July 14 2026 on Sir Richard Branson’s private Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands. About 70 close family members and friends attended a week‑long retreat that combined the wedding with island activities such as kitesurfing, snorkeling and feeding lemurs and flamingos.

The bride wore a custom lace gown by Nicole + Felicia Couture, while MrBeast wore a white Ralph Lauren tuxedo. Their first dance was to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ "Die With a Smile." The couple met in 2022 during a trip to South Africa, became engaged on Christmas 2024, and kept the event low‑key, opting for a private island setting rather than a public spectacle.
