MrBeast participates in $500,000 manhunt challenge with Indiana State Police

YouTuber MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, filmed a high-stakes challenge titled ‘Escape 100 Cops, Win $500,000’ involving 100 Indiana State Police troopers. The stunt took place at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, where Donaldson and four companions attempted to evade capture for 12 hours.

Participants utilized various tactics, including camouflage, disguises, and hidden tunnels, to avoid detection. However, the Indiana State Police successfully located all five contestants with over an hour remaining in the challenge. As a result of the successful manhunt, the police agency secured the $500,000 prize.

Following questions regarding the use of public resources, the Indiana State Police clarified that all participating troopers were off-duty and that the production company fully compensated the agency for the use of vehicles and equipment. The agency noted the event provided an opportunity to showcase various aspects of their work, including K9 units and emergency response.
