Police log system outage disrupts updates across Norway

On Monday evening Norway's police log system experienced instability, causing intermittent delays in publishing information. Øst and Oslo police districts reported the issue, which was later resolved after intermittent outages.

The outage coincided with technical problems at several other major services. NRK's website and push notification system were temporarily down, while payment services Vipps, BankID and telecommunications provider Telenor also reported brief interruptions. International platforms such as Xbox and other Microsoft services faced login and access difficulties for users worldwide, and Sparebanken Norway experienced similar glitches.

Authorities indicated the police log instability was temporary and did not affect overall public safety operations. Other providers reported that their systems were restored within an hour.
