Mërgim Pefqeli named Star of the Week in Kosovo Superliga

Mërgim Pefqeli has been named the ‘Star of the Week’ by the Football Federation of Kosovo following a standout performance in the Superliga. Playing for KF Dukagjini, Pefqeli scored a long-range goal to help his team secure a 2-0 victory against KF Malisheva in Klinë.

The win marks the first loss for Malisheva this season. Following the match, Dukagjini joins Prishtina at the top of the league standings, both remaining undefeated after five rounds. Pefqeli noted the high level of competition in the current Superliga season, stating that the teams are closely matched and the championship remains uncertain.
