Mérida allocates 30,000 euros for Three Kings Parade floats

The Mérida City Council has announced a 30,000 euro subsidy program to support the 2027 Three Kings Parade. The funding is intended for 15 selected projects, with each receiving 2,000 euros—an increase of 200 euros compared to the previous edition.

Associations and collectives must submit detailed technical projects including color sketches, costume photographs, and specifications for lighting, sound, and safety. Proposals must focus on Christmas themes, fantasy characters, or children's stories. A commission will evaluate entries based on design, color, originality, and costume quality, with a maximum of 55 points available for scoring. The application deadline is October 22 at 14:00.
