Mérida infrastructure: Governor oversees road repairs in Limones
Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena is overseeing road maintenance and repaving efforts in the Limones neighborhood of Mérida. The project involves an investment of one million pesos to address 57 streets, covering 2,507 square meters of road surface to improve mobility and safety for local residents.
As part of a broader initiative, the state government has allocated 40 million pesos through 2026 for paving and pothole repair across various points in the Yucatecan capital. Following recent work in the Yucalpetén neighborhood, authorities aim to extend these infrastructure improvements to an additional 15 neighborhoods by the end of 2026.
