Mérida Mayor supervises maintenance at Animaya Water Park

Mérida Mayor Cecilia Patrón Laviada has supervised maintenance and cleaning efforts at the Animaya Water Park to ensure safety and optimal conditions for visitors during the vacation season. The municipal government has performed preventive maintenance on fountains, splash pads, and children's play areas.

The aquatic area at Animaya operates from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM and features water jets, a splash pad, lounge chairs, and shaded areas. While the splash pad is open daily during vacations, it will transition to weekend-only access afterward. Beyond the water features, the park offers 4x4 safaris, catamaran rides, a 35.5-meter observation tower, a herpetarium, and a zip line.

Located in Ciudad Caucel, the Animaya zoo offers free admission and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
