Mrigakshi Saha wins gold at KVS National Sports Competition

Mrigakshi Saha, a young judoka from Agartala, won a gold medal in the Under-14 girls' 36kg category at the 55th Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) National Sports Competition 2026-27 held in Agra.

Saha trains under Pradip Sarkar, a certified Khelo India coach at the NSRCC Khelo India Judo Centre in Agartala. Her victory follows the recent success of fellow Tripura judoka Asmita Dey, who became the first Indian judoka to win gold at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
