Márquez 4 Elementos SRL declared bankrupt in Córdoba

A commercial court in Córdoba, Argentina, has declared the bankruptcy of the real estate and development firm Márquez 4 Elementos SRL. The company is linked to the MRQZPABAR Desarrollos SA group, which is currently under investigation for hundreds of alleged scams against investors across the country.

Judge Ana Silvina Izquierdo issued the ruling after a lawyer filed for bankruptcy to collect unpaid professional fees from a previous labor lawsuit. Although the company attempted to block the proceedings by claiming ownership of various properties and bank accounts, the court found that these assets were insufficient to prove solvency. Many of the declared properties are either frozen by precautionary measures, subject to liens, or have already been transferred to third parties.

Financial reports confirmed the company's critical state, noting that its bank accounts were paralyzed and classified under 'situation 5' by the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic, indicating unrecoverable credit risk. As a result of the bankruptcy decree, the court ordered the seizure of the company's assets and accounting books, a general inhibition of assets, a total bank account freeze, and a travel ban for the firm's managing partner. Creditors have until February 5, 2027, to present claims for credit verification.
