Mrs. GREEN APPLE releases sixth album ‘POPS’ to number one spot

Japanese band Mrs. GREEN APPLE has released their sixth studio album, titled ‘POPS’, marking the beginning of the group’s ‘Phase 3’. The 16-track record includes seven previously released singles—such as ‘lulu.’ and ‘Brand New’—alongside nine new tracks.

Upon its release on September 30, the album reached number one on the Oricon Daily Album Ranking, recording 578,000 sales on its first day. The release follows a period of significant growth for the trio, including high rankings on the IFPI Global Artist Chart and successful stadium tours.

To commemorate the launch, LINE Yahoo Corporation has introduced limited-time collaboration app icons featuring the band’s apple logo for LYP Premium members, while LINE MUSIC has launched a special feature page dedicated to the album.
