Mrs. GREEN APPLE members reflect on band transitions and personal milestones

Motoki Ohmori, vocalist and guitarist of the Japanese rock band Mrs. GREEN APPLE, recently celebrated his 30th birthday. Reflecting on his 29th year, Ohmori oversaw a period of significant transition for the band, including the conclusion of 'Phase 2' and the launch of 'Phase 3' on January 1, 2026. Key achievements during this period included a major five-dome tour and winning the Japan Record Award for the third consecutive year with the song ‘Darling’. Ohmori has also outlined long-term activity plans through 2029.

In a separate segment on the TOKYO FM radio program ‘SCHOOL OF LOCK!’, band member Ryoka Fujisawa provided advice to a 16-year-old listener struggling to share personal problems with others. Fujisawa encouraged the listener to express feelings incrementally or even through self-reflection and talking aloud to organize thoughts, noting that people often worry more about being a burden than their listeners actually do.
