Mrs. GREEN APPLE representative songs ranked by Japanese youth

Following the 30th birthday of Motoki Ohmori, vocalist for the rock band Mrs. GREEN APPLE, Wakamono Research conducted a survey among Japanese youth aged 15 to 20 to identify the band’s most representative songs.

“Ao to Natsu” (Blue and Summer) secured the first place with 32.2% of the votes. Respondents identified the track as a “national song” that is widely recognized, often associated with summer, and frequently played during school events such as sports festivals and school trips. Many noted the song is a staple in their daily lives, appearing in supermarkets, commercials, and family car rides.

“Lilac” ranked second with 25.4% of the votes. The popularity of this track was attributed to its heavy rotation on social media platforms like TikTok and its consistent presence on music charts.
