Mrs. GREEN APPLE wins five awards at MTV VMAJ 2026

The band Mrs. GREEN APPLE made a surprise appearance at the MTV VMAJ 2026 awards ceremony held at the Tokyo Dome on October 29. Despite having a live concert scheduled at the Yoyogi National Stadium on the same day, the group arrived at the ceremony to accept multiple honors.

The band secured five awards in total, including the top prize, Video of the Year, for their work on “Brand New”. Their other wins included Best Alternative Video, Best Editing, Best Visual Effects, and Best Live Production. This marks their third consecutive year winning the Video of the Year award.

Members Motoki Ohmori, Ryoka Fujisawa, and Hiroto Wakai appeared on stage in coordinated black attire, with fans noting the group's gothic-inspired fashion and use of accessories such as lace, glasses, and wide-leg trousers.
