Mrs. GREEN APPLE's 'Brand New' debut as Japanese theme for Marvel's Spider‑Man: Brand New Day

The Japanese version of the theme song for Marvel Studios’ upcoming film *Spider‑Man: Brand New Day* was released on July 13, 2026. Written and performed by the popular band Mrs. GREEN APPLE, the track – titled “Brand New” – was created in close collaboration with Marvel producer Kevin Feige, director Destin Daniel Cretton, and music supervisor Dave Jordan.

A special talk video featuring the film’s leads Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon together with Mrs. GREEN APPLE was also published. In the interview the band explained the song’s lyrical inspiration, the cast praised the track, and Holland narrowly avoided a spoiler. The band announced they will attend the film’s world premiere in Los Angeles at the end of July, underscoring the cross‑Pacific promotion of the movie.
