MS NOW to launch direct-to-consumer streaming service on Sept. 9

MS NOW, the progressive cable news network owned by Versant, has announced the launch of its first direct-to-consumer streaming service, MS NOW Membership, scheduled for September 9.

The service will allow viewers to access live programming, including hosts such as Rachel Maddow, without a traditional pay-TV subscription. In addition to live streams, the platform will offer digital content and opportunities for users to interact with the network’s contributors and analysts.

MS NOW Membership will be priced at $7.99 per month or $79.99 annually, with an introductory yearly rate of $39.99 available through September 30. The move comes as the network seeks to mitigate the loss of revenue caused by the declining number of pay-TV subscribers.
