Més per Palma seeks censure of Mayor Jaime Martínez over project delays

The political group Més per Palma has denounced a perceived lack of progress in municipal projects under the administration of Mayor Jaime Martínez. The party has announced plans to seek a motion of censure against the mayor during the next municipal plenary session.

David Pujol, the Més candidate for mayor, criticized the current administration for failing to deliver on key commitments, specifically citing the promised construction of 1,200 affordable housing units, which the party claims has not materialized. Més also highlighted delays in the Son Busquets project, attributing the stagnation to a lack of coordination between the central government and the Palma City Council.

Additional grievances include the slow progress or halting of several public works and facilities initiated in previous terms, such as the rehabilitation of the Can Ribas factory into a cultural space, the creation of rehearsal rooms for musical bands, and the renovation of the Plaza Mayor.
